My Story
… my why
Life can hit hard. For me, leaving school and stepping into the “real world” was total chaos. At 17, I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune condition, ankylosing spondylitis. The name alone was terrifying, and the months that followed—hospital appointments, long waits, and watching my mates live it up while I felt stuck—were tough.
That diagnosis didn’t just affect my body—it shook me mentally and emotionally. I hit a low point, tried different psychologists, medications, and wellness programs, but nothing really worked… until I tried kinesiology. It gave me a safe space to start climbing out of the hole, one step at a time.
Since then, life’s been a wild ride: running businesses, moving halfway across the world into yachting, trying to escape the chaos. I learned that running from your problems only works for so long—real growth comes when you face the root of the pain.
Coming back home, I realised the mental health system didn’t always connect with blokes like me. That’s when I decided to step in. My lived experience, combined with studying kinesiology, taught me that who you are matters more than fancy qualifications. Every challenge I faced, I reflected on, learned from, and now use to help other men tackle their own struggles.
It hasn’t been easy. It’s been confronting and intense, but it’s also been transformative. I’m walking this path with purpose, humility, and a real drive to help other blokes find their way out of the dark—just like I did.
